Local Artist works with Students             February 2008 HIGHLIGHTS

Art Club had a visit from Deerpath Art League Artist Helen LaCroix this semester. Helen is well- known for her painting and printmaking. She came as a guest artist to show her work and demonstrate the relief printmaking process to art club members. Helen’s visit is part of a new program established to create a relationship between the Art league and the high school art students, bringing them enrichment and greater exposure to art and working artists.
