CRAFTS/DESIGN — 1/2 Unit of credit   Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors
Prerequisite:           None

This semester class focuses on expressing creative ideas through various craft media with an emphasis on the principles and elements of design.  Students will develop skills in areas such as the following:  collage, fimo clay, bookmaking, batik, etching on glass, and mosaic.

 ADVANCED CRAFTS/DESIGN — 1/2 Unit of credit   Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors
Prerequisite:           Crafts/Design with a B- or better

In this semester course, students will further develop their applications of the elements and principles of design through craft media.  Projects may include:  stained glass, enameling, papier mâché sculpture and more.  Emphasis is placed on fine craftsmanship.
