LB Farmer's Market Poster Competition Winner Announced! May/June 2012

Please join me in congratulating Isabelle Montagne, Class of 2013, for winning the Lake Bluff Farmer’s Market Poster Competition!  Isabelle is a junior who plays Field Hockey and Lacrosse.  She was recently voted into National Honor Society.

Students in Graphic Design 3 and 4 classes participated in the contest.  They each created a visual metaphor for the word “fresh” or “summer.” The winning design features Montagne’s interpretation of “summer,” viewed like one would view through a kaleidoscope.

According to Lake Bluff Farmer’s Market Manager Barb Mortimer: "The committee loved the bold colors and creative design of the piece! It is always a joy to see what the talented students in Carolyn Bielski's class produce as a finished product for the LBFM!"
