The community is invited to support LFHS art students whose art work  will be on display at the Deer Path Art League's third annual  celebration of National Youth Art Month.  The Young Artist Enrichment  Program has developed a great working relationship with the LFHS art  department over the years and will represent artwork by 25 of the High  Schools very talented visual artists. 
 

There will be an Opening Reception held for the artists, their families, friends, the school district administration on Friday, February 26 from 5-8:00 pm.  It is a very special event and opportunity for art students to showcase their talent and for us as a community to support them.

  
Students from the School of Rock in Highwood will be playing music for us at the event and there will be a hands on art project/contest for students to work on if they wish.

The exhibit will run from February 26 - April 5, 2010.
