LFHS Art Department Advanced Art Students Attend Workshop

The LFHS Art Department hosted a special workshop on November 9, 2010 on creating photo transfers and using mixed media. The workshop participants included advanced art students, and teachers Debra Zare and Carolyn Bielski. Ina and John Bierle led the 2 ½ hour-long workshop, teaching a variety of methods to create photo transfers and using other materials to create fantastic, layered images. Ina Bierle is a professional mixed media artist and teacher at the Art Center of Highland Park. John Bierle is a professional painter and instructor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
