On Wednesday, May 16, nearly
300 students participated in the Wellness Department’s bi-annual Triathlon/Biathlon/8k
run from 10:40 am-1:20 pm. Students hoped to raise $6,000
for "Hope for Mackenzie," a fund established
to help the child of a LFHS teacher in her fight against Acute Lymphocytic
Leukemia. Students swam in the pool, transitioned to their bikes which
they rode along the bike path, and completed the journey with a run
to the finish line.
