The Scouts ended the year on a positive notes by defeating the
Eagles on their home court. Isaiah Reyes lead the team in
scoring with 13 points. Jack Wonham chipped in 12 points
as the Scouts controlled the paint. The team finished with
a 12-9 record this year. Great job!

The Scouts used a strong defensive effort to jump out
to a 23-11 halftime lead. It was a lead that was never in
jeopardy in the second half as the Scouts cruised to victory. Andy
Nelson lead the team in scoring with 12 points.

Lake Forest Frosh A 43 - Zion-Benton 45
The Scouts played tough defense and held the Zee Bees to 4 points
in the second quarter and 16 in the first half. The Scouts
gave up 18 points in the 4th quarter as Zion went on a big run. The
Scouts went down 5 and then quickly tied it up. Zion hit
a shot at the buzzer to seal the victory. The Scouts fell
to 13-8 (6-5 in conference).

After being tied at the half, the Scout took control of the game
in the 3rd quarter and outscored the Zee Bees by 10 points. Jack
Blumeyer lead the team in scoring with 9 points.

The Scouts played hard, but were not able to overcome a strong
Blue Devil team. Isaiah Reyes lead the team in scoring with

The Scouts trailed by 12 at half, but continued to fight hard. The
Scouts pulled to within 6 with 25 seconds left. Ryan Bender
hit a 3 pointer, followed by a 3 pointer from Dane Roberts at the
buzzer to force overtime. The Scouts lost at the buzzer in
overtime.

The Scouts held Lake Zurich to 10 points in the second half after
trailing by 6 at half. The Scouts improved to 13-5 (6-3 in
conference).

The Scouts started the game on a 7-0 run and led at halftime 23-20. The
Scouts played well down the stretch to seal the victory. Dane
Roberts led the way with 14 points. David Glynn had 10 rebounds
and provided great defense. Cal Miller and Rylan Terrasse
added great defensive efforts and 12 and 10 points, respectively. The
Scouts improved to 12-5 and 5-3 in conference
Lake Forest Frosh B 48 - Stevenson 43
Graham Ganshirt led the way with 11 points. Andy Nelson,
Isaiah Reyes, and Michael Szeszol made some key defensive plays
down the stretch to help seal the victory. Robert Kesman
provided a thrilling, buzzer-beating 3 pointer to end the third
quarter.

The Scouts could not hold off the Devils after a quick start. Henry
Schwartz played well with 8 rebounds and Dane Roberts had 10 points

fell to the Blue Devils. Jack Wonham led the team in scoring

A Scouts played excellent defense in their win against
Antioch. Jack Wonham led the team in scoring with 13 points. Sean
Driscoll also chipped in 9 points as the Scouts dominated the inside
game.

The Scouts fell behind early and trailed 27-20 at half. The third
quarter was the key as the Scouts outscored the Wildcats 17-6 in
the quarter. The comeback was started by 2 big 3 pointers from
Dane Roberts and 1 at the end of the quarter from Rylan Terrasse.
David Glynn was a key on the defensive end. Jack Kauss hit a big
3 in the 4th quarter to extend the lead. Liam Howe and Cal Miller
sealed the win with free throws down the stretch.
The Scouts were led by Cal Miller with 16 points, 8 rebounds and
Dane Roberts with 12 points, 6 rebounds. The Scouts improved to
9-4 and 3-2 in conference.

The Scouts won a thrilling conference game against the Wildcats. After
trailing at half, the Scouts played a great second half and held
on at the end for the win. Mike Szeszol led the team in scoring
with 13 points.

The Scouts fell to 5-3 on the season losing to the Trevians. The
Scouts fell behind by 10 half way through the third quarter. They
slowly chipped into that lead and took the lead 38-36 with 2 minutes
to play. The Trevians scored the final 7 points of the game. The
Scouts were led by Dane Roberts with 19 points.

The Scouts jumped out to an early 9-0 lead to start the game and
never looked back as they improved to 5-2 (1-1). The Scouts
were led by Cal Miller with 13 points, while Liam Howe and Dane
Roberts added 11 and 10 respectively. Henry Schwartz and
Liam Howe controlled the boards. The Scouts also had great
contributions from Grant LeClerq and Joey Beible.

The Scouts captured their second consecutive conference
game by defeating the visiting Mustangs. Michael Szeszol
lead the team in scoring with 7 points. David Keaton and
Jack Wonham added 6 each to give the Scouts a balanced scoring
attack

The Scouts played a tough game against the Patriots, but fell short
to fall to 4-2 (0-1 in conference). Free throws were the key in
the end for the Patriots. The Scouts hurt themselves at the free-throw
line. Liam Howe led the way with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Defensively,
Ryan Bender led the way with 4 steals. The Scouts will continue
conference play on Saturday against Mundelein.
Lake Forest Frosh B 61 Stevenson 38
The Scouts started their conference schedule out by playing their
best game of the year. David Keaton lead the team with
14 points and Sean Driscol added 10 points. The
Scouts jump out to a 23 to 8 lead in the first quarter and added
to their lead each quarter.

Lake Forest Frosh A 52 – Highland Park 35
The Scouts improved to 4-1. The Scouts were led
by Cal Miller with 14 points and Rylan Terrasse with 12 points. Ryan
Bender added a couple key 3-pointers. The Scouts played very
unselfishly on offense in attacking the Giants defense. Rylan
Terrasse and Liam Howe added great defense. The Scouts begin
conference play on Monday, when they take on Stevenson.

The Scouts played a strong game against the Giants, but could not
hold the lead they had going into the 4th quarter. Andy Nelson
lead the team in scoring with 7 points. Jack Wonham and Jack
Kaus also chipped in 5 points each.

on Carmel’s home court. David Keaton lead the team

Lake Forest A 56 - Glenbrook North 55
The Scouts fell behind early--trailing
16-8 at the end of the first quarter and 34-25 at half. The
Spartans defense caused a lot of turnovers in the first half. In
the second half, the Scouts defense took control of the game. Henry
Schwartz added some clutch shots to give the Scouts a 3-point lead
late in the fourth quarter. The Spartans took the lead back
with 10 seconds left in the game. The Scouts looked to push
the ball up the floor, and Cal Miller was fouled and went to the
free throw line. He connected on both of his free throws,
for 2 of his 11 points, to give the Scouts the lead for good. Ryan
Bender led the way with 12 points. Liam Howe, Graham Ganshirt
and Rylan Terrasse provided key defensive efforts. The
Scouts play Carmel on Tuesday, November 30th.
Lake Forest Frosh B 22 - Glenbrook North 31
The Scouts were not able to complete the three-day
sweep as they lost to GBN to finish in second place at the
Thanksgiving Tournament. Grant LeClercq led the team
in scoring with 6 points.

Lake Forest Frosh A 53 – Lane Tech 36
The Scouts improved to 2-0. The Scouts trailed by 6 at half,
but outscored Lane Tech by 18 in the 3rd quarter to take the lead and pull
away. The Scouts were led by David Glynn with 12 points and Liam Howe
with 11 points. David and Liam, along with Rylan Terrasse, provided great
defensive efforts to key the 3rd quarter surge. The Scouts will play
Glenbrook North on Wednesday for the Thanksgiving Tournament Championship.

The Scouts started the season 2-0 with a victory over Lane Tech
in the second game of the Thanksgiving Tournament. Jack Kauss
led the team in scoring with 8 points.

The Scouts jumped out to an early 22-6 lead to end the first quarter
and never looked back. The Scouts had 10 different players
score with Ryan Bender and Dane Roberts leading the way with 11
points each and Ryland Terrasse and Liam Howe each adding 10.
Lake Forest Frosh B 46 - Wheeling 24
The Scouts started their season off with a strong overall
team performance. The defense limited Wheeling to five
field goals for the entire game. Grant LeClercq lead a
balanced scoring attack for the Scouts with 9 points followed
by Jack Blumeyer with 8 points.

connect. They look to end the season on a winning note against
Vernon Hills.

Lake Forest A 38 – New Trier 35
The Scouts put together their best effort of the season. The
Scouts got payback for a tough loss to the Trevians at the Holiday
Tournament earlier in December. The game was close the entire
game. The Scouts big men were dominating. Jake Gloor
played tough defense on the perimeter and added 9 points. Luke
Turelli, 10 points, and Brett Busscher played great team defense
and forced the Trevians into tough shots. Ben Simpson played
great perimeter defense. Wes Young added two big 3 pointers. Nick
Kester made the key play of the game. With the game tied
at 35, the Scouts held for the last shot. The Trevians defended
the Scouts last play perfectly and forced Nick Kester to take a
tough, defended 3-pointer, which was banked in. The Scouts
improved to 14-8.

Palatine jumped out to an early 23-10 lead after the first
quarter, and the Scouts could not recover. They cut the lead down
to 6, but could not get closer. The Scouts fell to 12-6.

The Scouts were able to get a non-conference road win against the
Pirates. It was a close game throughout, but the Scouts were
able to overcome a one-point halftime deficit and pull away in
the fourth quarter. Dan Bedore led the team in scoring with
11 points.

Lake Forest Frosh A 49 - Lake Zurich 24
The Scouts started to realize their potential on defense. They
put together their best team defensive effort of the season. The
Scouts went into halftime up 21-13, but came out very stingy
on defense in the 2nd half--only allowing 2 points in the third
quarter. Offensive was very well balanced as 11 players
scored in the game. Luke Turelli led the way with 10
points, while Jake Gloor and Brett Busscher added 8 and 7 points
respectively. The Scouts improved their record to 12-5
(5-4 in conference).

The Scouts used aggressive defense to pull away to
24 point halftime lead and cruised to a victory against the
Bears. George Quall and Sam Downey lead the team in scoring
with 10 points apiece.

The Scouts lost a hard-fought battle with the Patriots. The
Scouts had 2 good looks at the buzzer to tie the game, but could
not get anything to fall. They were led by Jake Gloor and
Nick Kester with 9 points each.
Lake Forest Frosh B 43 - Stevenson 25
The Scouts got back on track with a win at Stevenson on Saturday. Nine
of the ten players who dressed for the game scored. Sam Downey
lead the way with 9 points. John Baker added 7 for the Scouts. A
strong defensive effort in the 4th quarter allowed Stevenson only
3 points.

Lake Forest Frosh A 44 - Warren 41
The Scouts jumped out to an early 30-17 half-time lead. They
had to hold off a late rally by Warren and escape a 3 pointer at
the buzzer by Warren attempting to push the game into overtime. Thomas
Kutschke was a monster on the boards leading the way with 8 rebounds
and added 6 points. He also played great defense. Luke
Turelli led the way with 10 points, including 2 clutch free throws
at the end of the game. Brett Busscher and Jake Gloor each
added 6 rebounds. The Scouts improved their record to 11-4
(4-3 in conference).

The Scouts were dealt their first defeat of the season against
Warren. Though they played hard, they were not able to keep pace
offensively with the Blue Devils. Kurt Bluemeyer lead the team
in scoring with 11 points. Sam Downey added 8 points.

The Scouts had troubling scoring and fell to the Mustangs, who
played great defense.
Lake Forest Frosh B 62 - Mundelein 52
The Scouts played a solid offensive game and came away with a road
victory. Connor Hanrahan lead the team with 14 points. Dan
Bedore and Thomas Kutschke chipped in with 13 points and 12 points
respectively.

Defense was the key to the Scouts success against the
Eagles. They got off to a great start and never looked
back. Andrew Grossman applied great full-court pressure
and had 6 steals. Jake Gloor led the way with 12 points
and Brett Busscher and Sam Downey added 6 points each.
Lake Forest Frosh B 49 - Lakes 20
Due to injuries, the Scouts were limited to 9 players for the game. Everyone
chipped in for the convincing win. Balanced scoring and pressure
defense were the keys to the victory. Dan Bedore and Thomas
Kutschke lead the team with 8 points apiece. Kurt Bluemeyer
and Connor Hanrahan poured in 7 each. This victory pushed
the Scouts record to 10-0 for the season.

Lake Forest Frosh A 34 - Libertyville 38
The late rally by the Scouts was not enough as they fell behind
by too much early on. They trailed 18-9 at half. Luke
Turelli led the way with 13 points and Wes Young added 7 points
off the bench. Sam Downey was a huge spark off the bench. The
Scouts fell to 9-3 (3-2 in conference)
Lake Forest Frosh B 48 - Libertyville 32
After being down 18-7 in the second quarter, the Scouts
turned up the defensive pressure and responded to the Libertyville
challenge by dominating them the rest of the game. Nick
Giordano and Thomas Kutschke lead the team in scoring with 12
and 10 points respectively.

Lake Forest Frosh A 34 - Zion Benton 33
The Scouts fell into a hole at half, trailing 15-22. The
Scouts' defense in the second half led them to victory by giving
up only 11 points. Trailing by 2 with 3.4 seconds left in
the game, the Scouts ran a play to perfection and Wes Young hit
a buzzer beating 3-pointer to win the game. Ben Simpson had
4 steals and Brett Busscher had 7 rebounds. The Scouts improved
to 9-2 (3-1 in conference).
Lake Forest Frosh B 55 - Zion Benton B 35
The Scouts used a balance offensive attack and solid team
defense to defeat the Zee-Bees and run their record to 8-0. Thomas
Kutschke lead the way with 12 points. Nick Giordano also
scored in double figures with 10 points.

Lake Forest Frosh B 50 - Lake Zurich 25
The Scouts used a balance scoring attack to defeat the Bears. Nick
Giordano and Kurt Bluemeyer lead the team in scoring with 8 each. Nick
Kester and Thomas Kutschke chipped in 6 apiece. Another strong
defensive effort insured the Scouts of a victory.

Lake Forest Frosh A 41 - New Trier 47
The Scouts continued their sluggish start to games and trailed
after the first quarter 19-8. The Trevians increased their lead to
as much as 19 points. The Scouts, led by Ben Simpson, rallied late
to cut the lead to 5, eventually losing by 6 and being handed their
first defeat of the season. The Scouts are now 8-1 and finished in
2nd place at the Glenbrook North Holiday Tournament.

Lake Forest Frosh A 36 - Highland Park 24
The Giants defense was a struggle for the Scouts as the
Scouts had trouble getting anything going in the first half and
trailed 15-9 at the break. The second half was dominated
by the Scouts defense. The Scouts forced a total of 21 turnovers
and were led by Carson Sperry with his 4 steals. Defensive
pressure was also led by George Quall and Jake Gloor. Wes
Young led the way offensively with 12 points. The
Scouts improved to 8-0.

Lake Forest Frosh A 41 - Loyola 30
The Scouts played great team defense and were led by Carson
Sperry with 3 steals. They also got a great spark off the
bench in Nick Giordano and he picked up 2 steals himself. The
Scouts forced 27 turnovers and dominated the boards. The
scoring was very well distributed and was led by George Quall and
Andrew Grossman with 8 and 7 points, respectively. The Scouts
improved to 7-0.

Lake Forest Frosh A 47 - Mundelein 45
The Mustangs gave the Scouts a run for their money. The played
tough defense and caused a lot of trouble for the Scouts. The
Scouts fought back well and were led by Luke Turelli's 16 points
and 7 rebounds. Jake Gloor was also a force on the boards
and finished with 7 rebounds. Carson Sperry did a job all
over the court and made it difficult on the Mustangs and also added
8 points. The play of the game went to George Quall. The
Mustangs led by 1 with 15 seconds left and George finished off
a busted play with a 3 pointer at the buzzer to win the game. He
finished with 14 points. The Scouts are now 6-0 (2-0 conference). The
play in the Glenbrook North Holiday Tournament next Monday, Tuesday,
and Wednesday
Lake Forest Frosh B 50 - Mundelein 28
The Scouts used a balance scoring attack to run their record to
6-0 for the season. Thomas Kutschke lead the way with 12 points. Ben
Simpson chipped in 10 points with a strong effort. The Scouts
used a stellar defensive effort to pull away in the second quarter
by limiting Mundelein to 4 points.

Lake Forest Frosh A 36 – Stevenson 33
The Scouts could not have started much worse. The Patriots
jumped out to a 9-0 lead and controlled the first half. Andrew
Grossman hit a three at the end of half to close the Patriots lead
to 18-11. The Scouts owned the second half with their pressure
defense. Carson Sperry was a huge spark defensively. Luke Turelli
dominated the paint and finished with 24 points. The Scouts improved
to 5-0 (1-0 conference).
Lake Forest Frosh B 42 - Stevenson 23
The Scouts used a balanced scoring attack and a strong
defensive effort to run their record to 5-0 this year. Kevin Nelson
lead the team with 6 points. John Baker, Dan Bedore, Mitch Talbot,
and Nick Giordano scored 5 each.

Lake Forest Frosh A 49 – Carmel 38
The Scouts (4-0) went back and forth with Carmel. They had
a lead as big as 15 and then Carmel cut it down to 2 points in

Connor Hanrahan and Sam Downey lead the Scouts in

at home. The Scouts jumped out to a 13-point lead in
the first quarter due to their strong defensive effort and
never let the Corsairs back into the game.

The Scouts (3-0), got off to a great start and led
31-10 at halftime. In the second half the Scouts struggled
to score, but continued their great defensive effort and
did not allow a point in the third quarter. George
Quall led the way with 4 steals. Offensively the Scouts
distributed the ball well and everyone scored. Brett
Busscher led the way with 9 points and 15 rebounds

Tournament Champions
The Scouts (3-0), were able to grab the lead early on
and never look back in a game that was controlled by both defenses.
The Scouts went into the half with a 18-7 advantage and their stingy
defense was able to hold the lead around ten points the rest of
the game. The entire defense put together a great effort and made
the entire evening a frustrating one for the Gelnbrook North offense.
The defensive efforts of Drew Stoll and Kevin Nelson off the bench
led to some key steals and stops. Sam Downey led the team with

The Scouts (2-0) struggled offensively to start the game
and led at half 20-17. The second half the Scouts dominated--led
by their defense and control of the boards. Brett Busscher
led the team with 8 rebounds. Andrew Grossman, Ben Simpson,
and Jake Gloor all led the Scouts with 3 steals a piece. Luke
Turelli led the team with 11 points.

The Scouts (2-0), got off to a very fast start and were hitting
on all cylinders as they were able to post a 41-19 advantage going
into the half. That lead grew to as many as 30 in the second half
until Lane Tech got hot from the three-point line. The huge lead
the Scouts built seemed to be too much to overcome as the final
score was as close as Lane Tech could get. The Scouts were led
by Sam Downey with 17 points.

The Scouts (1-0) got off to a slow start against the Spartans--giving
up 17 points in the first quarter. They responded well after the slow
start and played great team defense. The Scouts were led defensively
by Jake Gloor and Ben Simpson. Jake Gloor led the team with 12 rebounds
and added 11 points. Luke Turelli led the team with 14 points and added
9 rebounds. Andrew Grossman did a great job handling the full-court pressure. The
Scouts hit free throws down the stretch to win their opening game 52-44.

The Scouts (1-0), came out of the gates running and were able to
post a huge 39-12 halftime advantage. The Scouts continued to put
the pressure on Wheeling and give them no life as the entire team
played tough hard-nosed defense the entire game. Every single member
of the team was able to score in this match as they were led by
Tommy Kutschke's 17 points.

back and forth game and the Scouts entered the fourth quarter
down 23-20. The offense then exploded with 26 points
in the last quarter to lift the Scouts to victory. They
were led by John Hayes with 14 points and provided key defensive
pressure. Jack Patlovich helped lead the charge with
3 big 3-pointers in the last frame. Crey Titus added
8 points and 9 rebounds.

and was great on the defensive end. For the second game the Scouts
let their defense be the key to their offense. The Scouts are on
a 2-game winning streak and have improved their record to 5-6 (2-2 in conference).

After a slow start, the Scouts were able to pull off another exciting victory. Collin
Barnwell gave the Scouts a spark off the bench during the second half as
the Scouts came all the way back from an early 12-point deficit.

The Scouts started the 2009 year with their best defensive effort of the
season. They started slow getting down 5-0 and then went on an 18-6
run to finish the half. LF came out fast in the second half and rolled
to a 20-point victory. The Scouts had a nice spark off the bench
with Jack Patlovich, who led the way with 14 points. Thomas Durrett

to secure a victory. Luke Bernardi lead the team with 14 points and sealed
the victory with two freethrows at the end of the overtime period. The
Scouts parlayed strong defense into easy baskets to erase an eight point,
4th quarter deficit.

defensiveeffort. The Scouts build a 10-point half-time lead
by limiting the
Wildcats to 6 first-half points. Jon Sirus led the Scouts in

Tournament Championship on Wednesday.

The Scouts showed great improvement as they began the season with their
secondstraight victory. Phil Sheridan led a balanced attack for the Scouts

he scored 11 points along with taking 2 charges on the defensive end of
the floor.
Henry Wolffand Jon Sirus chipped in 9 and 8 points respectively as the
Scouts
dominated in the paint.

The Scouts started the year off with a hard fought victory
over Wheeling. The Scouts
rebounded from being down by 3 points at the half. Strong
defense and improved
rebounding allowed the Scouts to start the season off with
