01/15/10
Lake Forest A 37 - Libertyville 54

John Hayes scored 13 points and Matt Lawrence had 9.

Lake Forest B 38 - Libertyville 39
As in the A game, the Scouts forgot to show up for the first 7 minutes of the contest.  Down by as much as 12 points, the Scouts fought back and took a one-point lead with 2 minutes remaining in the game with a 3 from Joe Willis.  Turnovers hurt the Scouts on the next three possessions as Libertyville hit a 3 with 50 seconds remaining in the game.  The Scouts did a great job of executing the last play, but the shot just missed. They play very hard, but you have to play all 28 minutes, and we just didn’t do it.

01/09/10
Lake Forest 51 - Warren 41

The Scouts put forth their best effort of the season with the win at Warren.  The Scouts never trailed in the game that snapped a 4-game losing streak.  Hayes led all scorers with 21 points, but it was a total team effort on the offensive side of the ball.

On defense, the Scouts took the Blue Devils totally out of their offense.  With this type of effort, these young Scouts will be tough in the second half of the NSC.

01/06/10
Lake Forest 37 - Zion Benton 44 (OT)

The Scouts dominated almost every category and led most of the game, but couldn’t overcome the 28 turnovers in a heartbreaking loss.  The Scouts led by 8 with 2 minutes to play, but 4 turnovers let the ZB’s back in the game.  The Scouts had the ball with ten seconds left in the game, but couldn’t get off a shot.

12/18/09
Lake Forest B 38  - Lake Zurich 36
The Scouts bounced back from the Lake Zurich A loss.  On a cold morning, the Scouts showed up in Lake Zurich on fire.  The Scouts held the Bears to just one field goal in the first quarter and rushed out to an 11-2 lead.  The Scouts held the lead for the whole game but had to hold off a late rally for the win.

12/12/09
Lake Forest 37 - Stevenson 26

The Sophomore boys went to 2-0 in conference and 3-3 overall by defeating Stevenson by the score of 37-26. 12/12/09
Lake Forest Soph B 50 - Mundelein 20

The Scouts started on fire right out of the gate and never looked back.  Great team defense and great ball movement was the key in the victory.  The Scouts held the Mustangs to 1 basket in the 1st, 2nd and 4th quarters.
