Lake Forest 176 - Antioch 187
 
It was a struggle for the Scouts at Antioch, but they hung on for the win.  The top score was shot by birthday boy Briggs with a 43.  The other counted scores were: Hermes 43, Martin 46, Podd 45.

The Scouts end the match play season with a 7- 0 conference record and a
12 - 2 overall record.  The team won both 18 hole events and placed second in
their only quad.  It was a great season, and the future looks bright for the next three years.

Lake Forest Invite: Lake Forest 310, New Trier 313, Stevenson 319

The Scouts' Invite was held at Foss Park, and it turned out to be a great day for the Scouts-- taking the team championship with a 310.  New Trier Followed with a 313 and Stevenson was third with a 319.  The event consisted of 14 teams and was the first big-time F/S event held at Lake Forest. The Scouts were led by Schwartz and Meeks with a 77.  Willis and Garrity each posted a 78. The Scouts entered a second team in the event, and they finished 7th with a 334.  This team was led by Coulter with an 80, Pickell with a 82, Mardjetko with a 84 and the final count score was Klavson with an 88.  It was a great prep event since the NSC conference will be held at the same course.

The Scouts went on the road again and struggled for the 3rd time at Sunset Valley, but came away with the win.  The Scouts were led by Pickell with a 39.  The other Scouts who counted were Steffens 42, Coulter 41 and Podd 44.

LF 147 - Warren 182
The Scouts finished off the NSC Lake season with an impressive 147 at Lake Bluff. The Scouts were undefeated in the NSC Lake Division. The Scouts were led by Alec Schwartz with a one under 35. Also posting scores were: Steffens 37, Hansdorfer 37, Mardjetko 38.

Highland Park 155  Lake Forest 157  New Trier 162  Loyola 168

The Scouts played well on the road but were tripped up by the host team. Schwartz led the way with a 37. LaMothe posted a 39, Meeks a 40 and Willis a 41.

Lake Forest 156  Stevenson 168
The Scouts took another NSC match on our home course.  Playing from the back tee, the Scouts played well enough to topple the Stevenson's Varsity.  The Scouts were led by Charlie Marshall's 37.  The other scores were: Johnson 39, and Schwartz, Mardjetko and Steffens--all with 40.

Lake Forest 171  Highland Park 163

It has been the story of the Scouts' season: the Scouts dominate at home and struggle on the road.  At Sunset Valley, the Scouts had one of the worst matches of the year.  The lone bright spot was a 42 put up by Mike Martin-- 4.5 shots below his average.  The other scores that counted were: Mardjetko 42, Pickell 43 and Klavson and Hansdorfer 44.

At Lake Bluff, The Scouts got a little revenge from an earlier loss to Loyola.  The 4 scores that counted were Nick Steffens and Joe Willis with even par 36,  Perry Johnson--37 and Charlie Marshall--38.

 After a long layoff due to the heavy rains, the Scouts were back in action at Pine Meadows Golf Club.  The Scouts were led by Meeks, Schwartz, Willis and LaMothe who all posted a 42

Lake Forest 164  Zion 167 

The Scouts came away with a win despite a weak performance at Shiloh Golf Course. The Scouts were led by Podd and Applebaum, both with 40's.  The Scouts are 3-0 in the NSC Lake.

The Scouts went to Hawthorne Woods Country Club and just dominated the Bears.  Matt Garrity and Alec Schwartz both shot 37.  Forster Meeks and Chris Lamothe continue to play steady golf with 38. The team is now 2-0 in the NSC.

Lake Forest 151  Warren 171

The Scouts went to Bittersweet and proved they are more than just long hitters.  They played smart golf with Charlie Marshall's 36, Perry Johnson's 37  Austin Klavson's 37, Tony Hansdorfer's 41 and Nick Steffens' 41.

Lake Forest Frosh/Soph151  Mundelein 162

In a dominate performance, the Scouts played their best round of the year in the NSC opener. The Scouts were led by Foster Meeks 37, Chris LaMothe, Charlie Marshall and Quincy Coulter with a 38.  Overall, 10 Scout players scored 40 and under.

Loyola 159  Lake Forest Frosh/Soph 161  

The Scouts took a beating at Wilmette GC as only one player broke the 40 mark.  Foster Meeks was the low score with a 38.  Matt Garrity posted a 40, while Joe Wills posted a 41. JP Pickell rounded out the scoring with a 42.

It is the first time in over 12 years that the Frosh/Soph golf team has a 1-2 dual match record.  They hope to improve on that match as they travel to Lake Zurich on 09/04.

Lake Forest Frosh/Soph 156   Round Lake 220.  

In a crossover match, the Scouts played very well at home.  JP Pickell led the way with a 37. Tony Hansdorfer and Chris LaMothe posted a 39 and Calvin Podd, Quincy Coulter, Alex Applebaum and Nick Steffens all shot 41.

Chris LaMothe was the medalist with a 39, and Alex Applebaum posted a 42 at a match held at Glencoe Golf Club

Freshmen At St. Viator

Lake Forest won the inaugural St. Viator Classic with a score of 308. New Tier was second with a 319.  The event hosted 13 teams.  Joe Willis was the medalist with an outstanding score of 74. Charlie Marshall shot a 76, and Matt Garrity and Mack Mardjetko shot a 79.
