Coach Sheeran has coached boys' track since 2001. He was assistant coach from '01-'04 and became Varsity head coach in 2005. Denis received his BA in Math/Seconday Ed. from Trinity International University and his M. Ed. degree from Northeastern Ill. University. He teaches in the Math Department at LFHS.

Brian Runft

Coach Runft has been the Varsity Assistant Boys' Distance coach since 2005. He is also the Head JV Boys' Soccer coach. Brian received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Univ. of Wisconsin--Madison and his Master's degree in Secondary Education from DePaul. Brian is a Math teacher at LFHS.

Lester Long
Assistant, Boys' Track
Coach Long has been coaching Track & Field since 1985. In addition, he has been coaching Sophomore Girls' Basketball since 1999. He has also coached Freshmen Boys' Basketball for 3 years, Varsity Boys' Basketball for 8 years, Freshmen Girls' Basketball for 12 years, Freshmen Boys' Soccer for 22 years. Lester received his Bachelor's degree from McKendree College in Lebanon, IL.

Coach Occhipinti has been coaching Boys' Track since 1969. Prior to coaching at LF, he was Head Varsity coach at Weber High School. Joe received his Master's degree from the Univ. of Houston. Before he retired, he taught in the Social Studies Department at LFHS.
