01/28/12 Lake Forest Places 7th at Sectionals The Lake Forest Scouts have arrived! The
varsity competition cheer team hit a strong routine at the
state qualifier sectional at Belvidere on January 28th. Going
against 16 teams, the girls took 7th, which is only two spots
away from state! Seniors Caitlyn Guy and Maureen Foster
led the talented team to hit all components of the routine
strongly.
You can watch them perform their amazing routine
at the ELS basketball game on February 24th. LET'S
GO SCOUTS!
Congratulations to the Lake Forest Varsity Competition Cheerleaders
on their success at conference! For the first
time this season the girls competed at the North Suburban Conference
at Lake Zurich High School on Jan 7. The girls placed
placed 4th---beating Warren Township and Libertyville High
schools. They were within .4 of a point of 3rd place!
Congrats again! The girls would appreciate your support
at their next competition this Sunday, January 15, at
Vernon Hills High School at 10:15 am. Go Scouts!

the cheerleaders were able to beat last year's
record of books collected (250) by collecting over
300 books this year for the UIC Children's Hospital
Pediatrics Library. Thanks to the Highwood Public
Library, we also received children's books written
in Spanish.

UIC Children's Hospital serves some of Chicagoland's most poverty-stricken
young patients facing cancer and other serious, life-threatening
illnesses.

01/10/10 Congratulations to the LF Varsity Cheerleading
squad! The Scouts received fourth place in the Lakes division
of the North Suburban Conference Cheerleading Championship at Lake
