Alan Klingler

Head, Girls' Varsity Lacrosse
Coach Klingler has been the Head Varsity coach since 2009. Previously
he played at Denison University where he received his Bachelor's
Degree in Economics & Religion. He also coached the Women's Varsity
Lacrosse team at Denison for 2 years and was President, Captain and
Founder of Denison's Men's Club Lacrosse team. He has twice
been named the Great Lakes National Team Head Coach for the U.S.
Lacrosse National Tournament. Coach Klingler has a
passion for the game of lacrosse, has been coaching for over 15 years
and has played for more than 20 years.
Melanie Walsh

Assistant, Girls' JV Lacrosse
Coach Walsh returned as Assistant Varsity
coach in 2009. Prior to that Melanie was a Varsity Assistant coach
for Girls' Lacrosse in 2000 and 2005 and Assistant Frosh/Soph coach
in 2008. She has also been a Field Hockey Varsity Assistant coach
from 1995 to 2007 and became head coach in 2008.
Sara Kurtz

Head, Girls' JV Lacrosse
2011 marks Coach Kurtz's first year as Head JV coach
at LFHS. She received a degree in Communications from Wheaton College
and in Physical Education from Carroll University, as well as a Masters
degree in Health Education from Carroll University. Ms. Kurz works
at Oak Grove School where she teaches Health and PE.
Julie Chantler

Head, Girls' Frosh/Soph Lacrosse
Coach Chantler has coached Frosh/Soph Lacrosse since 2006.
Julie has also coached JV Field Hockey since 1998 and has been Varsity
Assistant Field Hockey coach since 2008. She received her BA in English
and a minor in Communications from Denison University and a Type
75 Administrative Certificate and MAT in Special Ed. from National-Louis
University. She teaches in the Special Education Department at LFHS.
Richard Moore

2011 marks Coach Moore's first year as Assistant Frosh/Soph
coach. Prior to that he was the Head JV coach at LF for 10 years.
He received his BA and his Master's in Education from DePaul University.
Rick teaches in the English Department at LFHS.
