Candice Davenport

Head, Varsity Poms/Dance Team
Ms. Davenport became head coach in 2006. Previously, she served as assistant varsity poms coach from '03-'05 and was an assistant varsity gymnastics coach from '02 -'03 and JV gymnastics coach from '03-'04. She was a member of the LF pom squad from 1990-'94. Candice received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Illinois State University and her MAT from National Louis University. She teaches in the Science Department at LFHS.

Kari Hintz
JV Pom Coach
2008 marks Coach Hintz's first year as JV pom coach. She was on the Antioch Community High School Varsity Dance Team for 4 years and then continued at the University of Iowa for 3 more.  Kari helped her team reach the top 13 at the UDA College Nationals in Florida.  She has a Bachelor's degree in Dance from the University of Iowa and currently teaches Dance at LFHS.


Lisa Alkazian
Competition Choreographer|
Ms. Alkazian has been choreographing competition routines for the LF dance teams since 1995, during which time the team has won numerous state titles and ranked as high as second place nationally. She has over 20 years of dance training in ballet, jazz, tap and hip-hop---training at Herrstrom Studio of Music and Dance, Ruth Page, Gus Giordano, River North and Lou Conte. Lisa was a member of the UIC team that won the 1996 National Dance Team Championship--open division--and served as an assistant and head coach of UIC Dance Teams as well as working as a Universal Dance Association Head Instructor. She has choreographed for UIC, U of I, Southeast Missouri State University, Lake Central H.S., Tulsa Memorial H.S. and Greenfield Central H.S. Dance Teams. She received her B.A. and M.S. degrees from UIC.

Angela Rogna
Assistant JV Coach/Choreographer
Angela is in the school of Education at the University of Michigan, studying English. A 2005 graduate of LFHS, she spent 4 years as a member of the Varsity dance team. As a captain during her senior year, she helped lead the team to their first 2nd place finish in the Large Pom division at the UDA National Dance Team Championship. She has choreographed/coached for the JV teams for 2 years.
