Chicagoland Championship
Congratulations to the JV Dance Team on the second-place finish in both the JV Pom and JV Jazz divisions at the Chicagoland Dance Championship held at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago on January 12, 2012. The team is coached by Samantha Gavigan.

Second in Jazz at Milwaukee Dance Championship

Milwaukee Championship--First Place Pom

The Lake Forest High School Varsity Team, led by Coaches Nikki Lazaretto and Candice Davenport,  and Junior Varsity Dance Team, led by Coach Samantha Gavigan,  attended the Universal Dance Association (UDA) Dance Championships in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and won 1st Place in the Poms Division.  In the Jazz Division, Varsity placed 3rd and JV placed 2nd.  JV Dancer Natalie Reinkemeyer won the turning competition.  Next stop:  the Chicagoland Dance Competition at UIC on Saturday, January 21, 2012.

UDA Summer Camp
Under the direction of Claire Troller, the LFHS JV Pom/Dance Team won the
following awards at the UDA Summer Camp held at ISU from July 27-30:

  • 1st  Place for Home Routine
  • A Routine Full-Out Award
  • B And C Superior Award
  • Spirit Stick All Nights
  • Tied LF Varsity for Leadership Award
