The following information is designed to assist the college-bound
student who is interested in participating in athletics at the
college level.
All prospective student-athletes planning on entering a collegiate
institution and desiring to play NCAA Division I or II intercollegiate
athletics must be verified by the NCAA Clearinghouse.
Students should register at the end of the junior year (summer before
senior year).
If you plan to participate in intercollegiate athletics at an NCAA
Division I or II institution or you plan to “walk-on” you
must register by visiting the web site at: www.eligibilitycenter.org.

You should click on “Prospective Student-Athletes,” which
will link you to the necessary information. As a prospective student-athlete
at a Division I or II institution, you have certain responsibilities
to attend to before you may participate. Information concerning who
needs to register with the Eligibility Center and what documents
should be submitted can be found in The
Guide for College-Bound Student-Athletes, which can
be downloaded from their website.

for Transcript” card at the end of your Junior year (not
before) or the beginning of your Senior year. They will be mailed
out to the Eligibility Center in late September or early October.
