Lake Forest High School Students Awarded for Outstanding Community Service
At
the June 9 Lake Forest High School Board meeting, State Representative
Karen May presented two students, Konstantine Buhler and Claire
Dillon, with certificates honoring their outstanding community
service efforts. Both of these students were named as top
runners-up in the 2009 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards
in Illinois. This award honors outstanding community services
by young Americans. Also, based on the number of hours indicated
on their applications, both Konstantine and Claire also qualified
for the President's Volunteer Service Award. This award recognizes
Americans of all ages who have volunteered significant amounts
of their time to serve their communities and their country.
Congratulations
to Konstantine and Claire.
