Student Council is excited to announce that on Thursday, September 22 we will kick off homecoming weekend with a celebration of our fall sports teams under the lights at Varsity Field. ALL students, family, friends and community members are invited to attend!  Food, fun, and the LFHS family will start with a BBQ available for purchase from the Booster Club starting at 6:30pm.  Join us in the home stands at 7:30 pm to watch the “parade of athletes” where each fall team will be recognized and celebrated.  There will also be plenty of performances and old traditions including the crowning of the homecoming king and queen.

Homecoming 2011 is just around the corner!  The annual Student Council sponsored Homecoming Dance will be onSaturday, September 24 in the Competition Gym at LFHS East Campus.  All students attending will enter the doors at the back of the school by Athletics.  Doors will open at 7:30 pm and the dance runs until 10:30 pm.  Tickets will be available at the door for $10 per person.  Students must have an ID to get in the door and only LFHS students will be admitted.  Attire for this dance is “dressy casual.”  This is a highly attended dance so don’t miss out on the fun!
