Dr. Harry Griffith receives Award of Excellence

Dr. Harry Griffith was nominated last May for the Illinois State Board of Education Those Who Excel award. The award is designed to recognize those who make outstanding contributions in the field of education in Illinois. Nominees are rated in the areas of student success, collaboration, continuous learning and leadership. Recommendations for Dr. Griffith were submitted by 8 members of our school community, including administrators, teachers, students, and parents. Dr. Griffith has received an Award of Excellence, which is the most prestigious of three levels of award that Illinois State Board recognizes. Congratulations to Dr. Griffith and our school community for receiving this prestigious award!
