Lake Forest High School is pleased to provide our families with a convenient,
easy and secure online prepayment service to deposit money into your student’s
school meal account. This service also provides parents the ability to
view your student’s account balance through the website .
By
having money in each student’s account prior to entering
the school cafeteria, the lunch lines will move along more quickly
allowing your student more time to relax, eat and be with friends.
Students will swipe their ID at the lunch line, the cashier will
verify the student’s identity and the account will be debited.
Thank you to all of you who have been using the Nutrikids program. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this service, it is a very easy way to put lunch money on your students account at school and you have the ability to see what they are purchasing each day. They will simply swipe their student ID, and money for their purchase is automatically deducted. This makes the lunch line go faster.
To do this, follow the instructions above. You will need to have your student’s ID number and an email address that you would want notification regarding a low balance in their account.
Simply follow the instructions and you can have this linked to a Pay Pal account or to a credit card. This process takes 24 hours to be received by our system at the high school so the student can’t access it immediately.
Please note, if you have been using this system at Deer Path Middle School this system will not work at the high school. You must sign up under District 115. If you no longer have any students at Deer Path, then you can close out that account and use the same email address. If you still have students at Deer Path, then you will need to use a different email address for your student at the high school.
Please note, at the end of the school year, the Food Service Manager at Deer Path Middle School will send me any remaining balances of students who will be coming to the high school and we just add them to their account at the high school. At the high school, if a student has remaining money on their account at the end of the year it will automatically transfer over to the next year. If the student is a senior and have siblings in the school, the money will be transferred to them. We will refund any amount over $10.00 if neither of these situations applies.
Please note that new students and freshmen are not in our NutriKids system until a few days before school opens so before this please do not attempt to put money on your students account before this time.
Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have regarding this system.
Looking forward to serving your students the many healthy food choices we have available for them here at the high school.

Thank you to all of the students and parents who participate in the Food Service My Nutrikids program.
For those who haven’t participated in this service, we encourage you to do so. It’s easy just to sign up and a great way to put money on your students account for lunch and view what they are purchasing each day.
At the end of the school year, the money that is left in your students account will be handled as follows:
- If your student is a freshmen, sophomore or junior, the money left in their accounts will be rolled over to the next school year.
-
If your student is a senior, you have two choices. You may roll it over to another sibling at the high school if there is one. Or, if the senior has more than $10.00 in the account and has no other sibling, the money will be refunded via the business office. We will take care of that automatically through the food service office.
If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to call (Cafeteria Manager) at 847-582-7771.
