Lake Forest High School Communication Department utilizes several
communication methods to help LFHS families and the community stay
informed. These include this website,
the parent E-newsletter “HIGHLIGHTS," press
releases to various newspaper/magazine publications, and an Instant
Alert telephone system.
The Lake Forest High School newsletter “HIGHLIGHTS” reflects
an effort to provide LFHS families with monthly information that
is timely and informative about LFHS regarding
Board
of Education, Class News, Department News (Athletics/Academics/Community
Education/Student Services (Academic Advising, Testing, College
Recourses, Student Clubs, Service-Volunteer opportunities)/Parent
Opportunities/Performances. An
E-Highlights
email is sent to subscribers at the beginning of each month
(subscribe
to E-News!). Weekly E-News updates are also sent.
Information found in the newsletter will also be posted on this
website and
when appropriate, will be included in press releases. Postings
to www.lfhs.org reflect
the same news that is acceptable for the HIGHLIGHTS newsletter.
While we recognize that there are many worthwhile opportunities
for the community at large that may involve or be of interest to
the high school community, we are not able to acknowledge requests
for publicity that do not relate directly to a school event and/or
student involvement.

all the latest team accomplishments and photos of your favorite
scout team, please visit “Athletics.” Here
you can select your favorite team to see information regarding
coaches, pictures, recent news, rosters, schedules, scores
and more! As much as we would like to acknowledge all of
our teams and athletes, the main purpose of the Highlights
newsletter is to provide families with monthly information
that is timely and informative about what is going on at
the high school. From time to time,
we will include pictures
(if space allows) of your
favorite team shot.
As always, when information is submitted to Communications
(jmurawski@lfschools.net or awhipple@lfschools.net),
it will appear in parent E-Highlights newsletters,
it will be submitted to the Lake Forester either
as a feature article or under “School Digest,” posted
at “Triblocal.com,” and
it will be posted on the Lake Forest High School website, www.lfhs.org. Please check the website
daily as it is kept updated as new information is received.
