PowerSchool PowerSchool is a web-based program that allows students and parents the ability to check grades and attendance for their classes. Staff updates grades in PowerSchool on a regular basis. If you are having technical issues with PowerSchool, or need login information, please call the technology helpdesk at 847-582-7370 and they can assist you. Students and parents have separate Powerschool and Edline accounts. New students are given their account information as part of the registration process during the summer or at school. Parents of new students are mailed a printed copy of their parent account information after the school year begins. Parent accounts are not the same as student accounts. The PowerSchool parent account allows parents to sign up to receive emails for grades and attendance so they do not have to log in as often to view this information. Email notification can be sent daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or by request.
If you do not see the email notification icon when you log in this probably means you are signing in as your student with their account information. Naviance Naviance is a web-based application that allows students to view registration information and to help with the college search process. There is a college visit schedule to see which colleges will be coming to LFHS. You can also use it to find quick information on a college or to generate a list of schools that matches your interests. Don’t miss out on all this program has to offer .If you are having difficulties logging on to Naviance your student may need to reset your password. Please call Tiffany Smith at 847-582-7313 to reset passwords. After Augus 15t , 2011 please call the Counseling Office at (847)582-7388 for password help. Nutrikids Lake Forest High School is pleased to provide our families with a convenient, easy and secure online prepayment service to deposit money into your student’s school meal account. This service also provides parents the ability to view your student’s account balance through the website www.MyNutrikids.com. By having money in each student’s account prior to entering the school cafeteria, the lunch lines will move along more quickly allowing your student more time to relax, eat and be with friends. Students will swipe their ID at the lunch line, the cashier will verify the student’s identity and the account will be debited. More information on establishing an account, here.
