Advisor: Erin O’Donnell
Students are placed with elementary-aged students who would benefit from
a “one to one mentoring program”. Activities
include tutoring, games, and crafts. Students, with their faculty supervisor,
are bussed by LFHS to South School in North
Chicago from 3:15 pm to 5:15 pm on Wednesdays.
Requirements: Students will give a full year commitment to meet once
a week with their “littles”, on Wednesdays from
October through May.

A Christmas Party held jointly by the
Big Brothers/Big Sisters service club and the Boys Varsity and
Freshmen Basketball teams. The club and the teams worked together
to provide food, games, and entertainment for the “Littles” from
South Elementary School in North Chicago. An exciting afternoon
of fun was shared by all! |

A- Thon to raise money for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Lake
County on Dec. 8, 2007 at Hawthorn Lanes. Thank you for making
a difference in the lives of young people. |

On December 12, The Big Brothers/Big Sisters
service club in conjunction with the Boys Varsity Basketball team
will host a holiday party for the “Littles” from
South Elementary School in North Chicago. They are working together
to provide food, games, and entertainment for an exciting afternoon
of fun.
