Enriched Studies provides assistance and support to general education
students in achieving their academic goals. Students will
be coached to become more effective learners by setting their
own goals, working towards them on a daily basis and receiving
regular feedback. Course curriculum is in alignment with
the Illinois State Standards by cultivating decision-making skills,
use of external supports, and the ability to demonstrate skills
related to achieving personal and academic goals. Students
typically exit from this program by achieving their goals and
demonstrating the ability to be successful and independent or
by demonstrating the need for more support. Students may
stay in this program only as long as they remain committed to
working on their goals. Students may re-enter the program
each year in a similar way. The program is open to sophomores,
juniors and seniors with CORE team approval. Students will receive
will receive a ¼ unit of credit per semester
