New Student Registration Process
Welcome to Lake Forest High School!
Families must first contact Tiffany Smith the Registrar at Lake Forest High School by email tsmith@lfschools.net or by phone 847-582-7313 to get the registration process started.
Families must live within the Lake Forest High School boundaries- proof of residency will need to be provided. This would be real estate signed closing papers or a signed, notarized lease with the lessor’s phone number and two copies of a current utility bill (electric, gas or water). The family will then need to pick up a registration packet from the Registrar. If you are unable to provide the documents listed above, more options can be found here.
The registration packet contains a list of items that need to be provided to the Registrar prior to meeting with a school counselor. These items include: proof of residency (as listed above), unofficial copy of transcript from previous school(s) attended, recent report card, certified copy of birth certificate, standardized test scores, family data questionnaire, emergency medical information form, medication authorization form and certificate of health examination.
Once the Registrar receives this information she will then set up an appointment for you and your student to meet with their assigned counselor to schedule classes.
