New Social Norms Posters!Students choose new campaign media.January 2011

In January, you may have noticed some commotion in the cafeteria while students vied for a spot to view the NEW potential social norms posters. In no time, campaign staff collected 250 ballots from students who wanted to vote on the next set of posters. They were offered a variety of styles to choose from. The theme of “superheroes” received the most number of votes, so throughout this semester posters will feature this theme. In addition, the posters will feature new statistics, taken directly from the December 2010 norms survey!

The social norms campaign continually works to educate students and staff alike about the power that our perceptions have over our actual choices and behaviors – and why making decisions based on real data is important.
